Maestro is a leading developer and supplier of financial and administrative software.
In 2005, King Design was commissioned by Maestro to re-brand the company and its products.
Following King Design’s 4-phase method for project planning and execution, we began with a review of the company, its products and the competition. The design brief concluded that nothing from the existing identity was to be saved and the result is a completely new and fresh identity. King Design has implemented the new design in all corporate and marketing touchpoints.
The registered business name is Maestro Soft AS. King Design recommended that this should only appear in formal situations, and that the simplified Maestro name be developed as the communication name and logotype.
The new logo has crisp, custom made lettering, specially designed to build confidence within the target audiences.
Colour coded symbols combined with supplementary names differentiate between the various product groups (accounting, admin, tax etc.).
Photography is a key communication element of Maestro’s visual identity.
